With the month of June already half over, our grade 6 students are getting ready to take their P.A.T.'s. These provincial achievement tests are meant to measure knowledge and skills in the 4-core subjects: Math, Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science. These "tests reflect a common provincial achievement standard for students in a [specific] grade. They are based on what students are expected to know and be able to do as set out in the programs of study."
