Ag Data Science Camp is a five day overnight camp offered free of charge to high school students in grades 11 and 12 interested in transforming the future of agriculture through data science and technology.
Presented by Olds College, the camp exposes you to career paths in the emerging fields of precision agriculture, data science and agriculture technology.
Guided by instructors from the Werklund School of Agriculture Technology at Olds College, you’ll be exposed to the principles of data literacy, informed decision making and emerging agriculture technologies.
Over the course of the week, you’ll take part in engaging classroom discussions, demonstrations, guest lecturers and produce a final project demonstrating your new data informed decision making skills to solve an existing agricultural challenge in front of a panel of industry professionals.
